RCC’s sustainability team, along with retail members, recently toured EFS Plastics’ state-of-the-art recycling facility in Listowel, Ontario. The visit provided key insights into transforming curbside and commercial plastic waste into high-quality resins and highlighted the importance of collaboration between producers and recyclers. EFS showcased their new German technology for recycling multi-layer flexible plastics—one of the industry’s toughest challenges. A big thank you to the EFS team for hosting this valuable tour as we advance sustainable product design and recycling under Canada’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
